Family Guardian's first annual Founders' Day provided an opportunity for the
company to commemorate its formation with a day of activities designed to
positively impact the communities it serves.
On Friday, September 17 all Family Guardian offices throughout The Bahamas
closed for business as management,
staff and agents gave their time and talent to assisting a variety of
institutions within their immediate communities. Staff members spent the day painting,
gardening, providing entertainment and arts and crafts demonstrations, and enjoying
time spent with the young and young-at-heart.
The launch of Founders’ Day is part of Family Guardian’s 45th Anniversary
celebrations and complements the company’s on-going support of national programmes
that encourage education, youth development, environmental protection,
health, and support of the elderly.
