Family Guardian was founded in 1965 by three insurance professionals who recognized the need
for a uniquely Bahamian insurance company, capable of meeting the needs of a growing Bahamian
population.
For over years,
Family Guardian has helped Bahamians plan for their future with a broad range of life insurance and investment products offered through its three sales divisions: Home Service,
Financial Services and Group Life and Health.
With sales offices in New Providence, Grand Bahama, Abaco, Eleuthera and Exuma, Family
Guardian also has resident sales
representatives in Andros, Long Island, Cat Island, San Salvador and Acklins.
Family Guardian Corporate Centre, home to the company’s administrative and technical staff,
is situated at the junction
of East Bay Street, Village Road and Shirley Street, Nassau.
The Family Guardian Financial Centre, at the corner of East Bay and Church Streets, Nassau
is home to Financial Services marketing operations, Client Services and BahamaHealth
